RFQ for Engineering Services

Sealed bids will be received at the Administration Office located at 1020 Sanitation Rd., Immokalee, Florida until Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 10:00 AM.  Immediately thereafter, in the District's Board Room located at the above address, those proposals received will be opened and publicly read concerning:

General Engineering Consultant Services for the Immokalee Water & Sewer District, in accordance with the “Competitive Consultants Negotiation Act” Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, for continuing services.

The Immokalee Water & Sewer District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to award bids on a split-order basis by item number when applicable, to waive any bid informalities and to re-advertise when deemed in the best interest of the Immokalee Water & Sewer District.

IWSD was Requesting Proposals for  Inspection and Cleaning Services on September 14, 2015

IMMOKALEE WATER & SEWER DISTRICT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
The District received proposals from only one company: Southern Corrosion, Inc. on Monday, September 14, 2015. The Board reviewed their proposal during the Board Meeting on September 16, 2015 and voted to accept their proposal for a three year period.

IWSD WAS REQUESTING PROPOSALS FOR CLEANING SERVICES                                                  

Sealed bids were received by the Immokalee Water & Sewer District at 1020 Sanitation Rd., Immokalee, Florida  34142, on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 for the Cleaning Services at the offices located at 1020 Sanitation Road, Immokalee, FL. At the October 15, 2014 Board Meeting, the Board voted to reject all bids, and request bids from other companies.

The District received several quotes from different cleaning companies. Friday, October 24, 2014 was the last date that proposals were accepted. We have since contracted with Jan-Pro Cleaning Systems of Southwest FLorida.


The District accepted bids for Phases 5, 6 & 7 of the IWSD AC & Undersized Water Main Replacement project.

The Board approved awarding the contract(s) to Steven's & Layton - (The apparent low bidder on each project) at their December 18, 2013 Regular Meeting.


Immokalee Water and Sewer District  was accepting Sealed Bids for the Upgrade Lift Stations I, T, & V and New Lift Station I2 & Forcemain and New Sanitary Sewer & Manholes project to be received by the Immokalee Water and Sewer District at the District office until  10:00AM (Local Time), September 23, 2013, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The District received four bids:  1) Quality Enterprises - $997,100.35, 2) Steven's and Layton -  $1,196,694.38, 3) DN Higgens - $1,362,595.00 and 4) Denco - $2,378,450.00. The Board voted to award the bid to the lowest qualified bidder, Quality Enterprises on Friday, September 27, 2013.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE was held at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the Immokalee Water and Sewer District Offices, 1020 Sanitation Road, Immokalee, FL 34142, Immokalee, Florida.

REQUEST FOR EXOTIC VEGETATION REMOVAL SERVICES

IWSD accepted sealed proposals for Exotic Vegetation Removal Services until Noon on Friday, November 16, 2012. At that time, the proposals were opened and then distributed to the District’s evaluation committee. The District’s evaluation committee  reviewed and ranked each responsive and responsible proposal according to the criteria listed on the attached Evaluation Form. A mandatory pre-bid meeting relating to the Exotic Vegetation Removal Project was held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 27th at the District office located at: 1020 Sanitation Road, Immokalee, FL 34142.

The District received proposals from three companies, and voted to award the bid to Collier Environmental Services,  and a contract was executed.

  
 
IWSD accepted RFP's for the following  "(1) LONG-TERM LAND LEASE FOR A DESIGN-BUILD-FINANCE-OPERATE-MAINTAIN CLASS A REGIONAL SLUDGE PROCESSING SYSTEM (2) CONTRACT SLUDGE DEWATERING AND HAULING" The RFP date was moved to September 14,2012  The committee received packages from the following vendors:
1) Pro Lime (No-Bid); 2) United Renewable Resources; 3) Synagro; and 4) Schwing Bioset
After a careful review of the proposals, the Board approved the proposal from Schwing Bioset for the Design-Build-Finance- Class A Sludge Processing Facility, during the September 19, 2012 meeting.


 IWSD received RFQ's for Engineering Services for the design and construction of "AC Line Removal and Undersized Water Main Project" from the following firms: Agnoli, Barber & Brundage, Inc, Aim Engineering & Surveying, Inc., Culpepper & Terpening, Inc., Greeley and Hansen, Keith and Schnars, P.A., and Mittauer & Associates, Inc. (Received after deadline and returned unopened)

The committee members  reviewed the submittals independently, and meet to rank them on September 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. The ranking was submitted to the Board of Directors at the September 19, 2012 Regular Board Meeting. The Board approved the ranking of 1) Greeley and Hansen; 2) Agnoli, Barber & Brundage and 3) Aim Engineering. The Board is asking the top three ranked firms to give a presentation on September 27th.
